Pied Piper Players Theater Arts Classes and Camps offers improv, dance, theater, and musical theater activities, including Improv, Danceology, Broadway Shorties: Annie KIDS, Fables in Motion, Play It Straight, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Spring Break Theater Camp: PIRATES!, and Summer Theater Camps. Improv for grades 2–5 meets Tuesdays from 4:30–5:15pm from 1/20–3/24, and Improv for grades 5–8 meets Tuesdays from 5:30–6:30pm from 1/20–3/24, both taught by instructors Elaine Franchi and Emily Menell. Danceology for grades 5–adult meets Fridays from 6–7:30pm from 3/20–6/5 with instructor Rosemary Conant. Broadway Shorties: Annie KIDS for grades 3–7 meets Wednesdays from 4:30–6pm and Fridays from 5–6:30pm from 3/18–5/15 with instructors Leslie Stupple, Murlene Watkins, Kylie Elenz-Martin, Elaine Franchi, and Gabrielle McIllwain. Fables in Motion for grades 1–3 meets Thursdays from 4:15–5:15pm from 1/22–3/19 with instructors Leslie Stupple and Elaine Franchi. Play It Straight for adults 18+ meets Wednesdays from 6:30–8pm from 3/18–5/27 with instructor Leslie Stupple. Spring Break Theater Camp: PIRATES! runs March 30–April 3 from 9am–4pm.
Pied Piper Players started in 2001 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit family theater organization in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is described as an award-winning family theater organization dedicated to theater education and to promoting confidence, community, and excellence through participation in the theater arts. The organization was founded by Leslie Stupple and a group of dedicated parents. It also offers MainStage productions and teen programs, along with scholarships, a non-competitive environment, a non-discrimination policy, free and discounted tickets and transportation for local schools, free school shows, free after-school drama, and ticket gifting programs. The organization invites donations of unwanted building supplies, paint, costumes, fabric, and craft materials for use in its programs.
