West Hills United Soccer Club offers soccer programs that include skills training with 1UP Soccer. West Hills players take part in these skills training sessions as part of their seasonal soccer activities.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Price: 10% Early Bird discount off registration fee until September 1, 2026. One volunteer fee per family will be charged at the beginning of the season (outdoor or indoor). At the end of each soccer season, those parents who volunteered in some capacity will be refunded their volunteer fee.
West Hills United Soccer Club was founded in 2013. Its mission is to provide all players with a soccer experience at both recreational and competitive levels from U10 to U18, promoting player success through strong skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, respect and perseverance, with a desire to develop a lifelong love and enjoyment of the game.
West Hills United Soccer Club is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization that relies on volunteers. West Hills United provides club-trained head coaches for all Calgary Minor Soccer Association (CMSA) teams, supported by volunteer parent coaches and team managers, and offers comprehensive training for all volunteers. All Minis programs are led by experienced West Hills United staff youth coaches. Volunteering as part of the coaching or managing team fulfills the volunteer requirement for all players in the program, and doing lines or net set up more than five times during a season counts toward club-level volunteering.
West Hills players do skills training with 1UP Soccer, and these sessions are included in seasonal fees. The Abuse-Free Sport Helpline is available as a free, anonymous, confidential and independent service in both official languages.
West Hills United is proud to partner with Macron Sports for coach and player kits and other soccer accessories, and Macron is the official provider of team kits for the Canadian Premier League. Orders can be made online and shipped to West Hills United directly, and families can also order online and pick up West Hills United gear at Westhills shopping centre. Play it Again Sports carries West Hills United gear, has brand new equipment and customizable clothing, and buys used sports gear.
West Hills United Soccer Club has a partnership with community clubs including Signal Hill Soccer and Triwest Soccer clubs. This partnership allows the community clubs to develop fundamental skills for younger soccer players (U4–U10) using house league programs. West Hills United Soccer participates in the Calgary Minor Soccer Association leagues with U7–U19 CMSA teams and supports nearby community clubs for U10 house league and younger.
The leadership team includes Julianna Gottli, General Manager; Kara-Anne Yu, Administrative Assistant; Gerardo Sosa, Technical Director; Christian Arroyo Gama, Director of Operations; Fabricio Cavallari, Grassroots Coordinator; Tatum Hosie, Social Media; Brent Ludwig, President; and Allison Carson, Treasurer.
