About

Hillsborough AYSO Region 110 Soccer Programs offers youth soccer, including the EPIC (Everyone Plays In our Community, formerly VIP) soccer program. The program includes organized soccer seasons with practices and games scheduled by each team’s head coach.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: The season runs from late August through the end of October, with Hillsborough Cup play for two weeks in November through November 16; practices begin the week of August 31, and the first games are scheduled for the weekend of September 13, 2025.
• Price: Fall season prices are $325 for 5U (Jamboree) and 6U, and $375 for 8U and above; EPIC registration is $50, not including National AYSO's annual $25 fee and a $3.50 online processing fee.

Hillsborough AYSO Region 110 is part of Area 2N, which includes Hillsborough, Burlingame, San Mateo, Foster City, San Carlos, Belmont, Redwood City, and Half Moon Bay, and Area 2N is part of AYSO Section 2, which covers Northern California, most of Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Hillsborough AYSO is open to kids from everywhere. AYSO's programs are open to all children between the ages of 5 and 18 who want to register and play soccer, and AYSO uses birth-year registration to align with US Soccer, the governing body for soccer in the United States. Hillsborough AYSO is a 100% volunteer-run organization, and financial assistance is available. Children with special needs can sign up for the EPIC (Everyone Plays In our Community, formerly VIP) program.

Every player on every team must play at least half of every game, and teams are set up as evenly balanced as possible, with all AYSO players placed on new or balanced teams each year. For the 16U and 19U divisions, draft team rosters are subject to review and approval by a committee of the Hillsborough AYSO Board. The Upper Division Conduct Policy includes sanctions such as game suspensions for yellow and red cards related to unacceptable conduct, and players who have demonstrated recurrent unacceptable conduct will not be invited to play and will have their registration fees refunded.

The American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) was established in the Los Angeles area in 1964 with nine teams. The mission of AYSO is “Providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives.” The leadership for Hillsborough AYSO Region 110 includes Regional Commissioner Tony Lorber and Referee Administrator Perry Schiro.
