About the provider

Happy Kids Preschool & Child Care Centers says its primary mission is to provide a safe, nurturing and success-oriented environment where children experience the joy of learning and develop a positive self image. The program was selected by the California Department of Education to provide full day funded childcare and half day State Preschool services to qualifying families in El Dorado County, and it follows the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Accreditation Program Standards. Parents and guardians are encouraged to communicate with staff, take part in the Parent Advisory Committee, attend school programs, volunteer at special events, and join in activities at the school.

Provides free nutritious meals: breakfast, lunch and snack, for all children. Does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. Also states no physical segregation or other discrimination because of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), age, disability, and reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity.
