St. Dorothy's Rest Summer Camps offers activities such as canoeing, hiking, archery, crafts, campfire, tie-dye, backpacking, a dress-up tea party, color war games, and a chance to swing off of a rope swing into the water. Campers are asked to pack pieces of clothing that are red, blue, green, and yellow for the color wars on the last full day at camp.

St. Dorothy's Rest Summer Camps is an Episcopal Camp and Retreat Center with programs that include Memorial Day Family Camp, Russian River Adventure I and II, Teen Adventure Week I: Angel Island, Teen Adventure Week II: Point Reyes, Ankle Biter Camp (ABC), Mini Camp, a Counselor-In-Training Program, Camp Wonder, and Queer Family Camp. The program offers tiered pricing for all sessions, payment plans, and camperships that provide additional financial assistance for families who need it, and no camper is ever turned away due to cost. Camp Wonder is a family camp in collaboration with Common Ground Society, whose mission is to ensure that families in the neurodivergent community feel a sense of belonging through meaningful connections and local support.
The staff and volunteers at St. Dorothy's Rest Summer Camps undergo equity and diversity training, and the programs are designed with radical belonging in mind. In 2019, the camp introduced Gender Expansive bunking. The mission of St. Dorothy's is to invite children, youth, and adults, wherever they may be on their spiritual journeys, to experience and explore God's creation through summer camps and retreats. The camp is described as an Episcopal Camp and Retreat Center that welcomes all to restore their faith, hope, and love in a sacred space.
