Campbell Girls Fastpitch Softball includes activities such as player evaluations for 8U, 10U, and 12U, a 6U player clinic, regular practices, pitching clinics for 8U and 10U, games, and an Opening Day Ceremony. The program also holds events such as Picture Day, Family Fun Day & Hit-a-thon, San Jose Giants Night @ Excite Ballpark, and a Spring Rec Closing Day with last games. Families can take part in an Equipment Swap, Snack Shack sign-ups, and volunteer opportunities to help with the fields.

Softball in Campbell and West San Jose started in 1974 with Campbell Bobby Sox and evolved to the formation of Campbell Girls Fastpitch Softball in 2005. Campbell Girls Fastpitch Softball has the goal of teaching girls aged 5–14 life lessons in competition and teamwork, while learning the fundamentals of softball and developing valuable relationships that last a lifetime. The league is an entirely volunteer managed non-profit, and parent volunteers improve, manage, and maintain the league. The organization typically has over 200 players, offers Campbell Crush travel teams, and provides 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U welcome packets. Campbell Girls Fastpitch Softball is registered with eScrip, is a registered non-profit on the Benevity platform, participates in Microsoft Rewards’ Give with Bing program, and is the designated non-profit recipient for the Round Up and Give program at South Winchester BBQ. The organization invites volunteers to help with the fields and can provide documentation for community volunteer hours for schools or employers.
