About
Let’s Play in Spanish includes activities such as singing, drama, stories, games, puppets, arts and crafts, puppet shows, and working on learning centers. The program also includes structured and academic activities such as Math, Language and Literacy, Social Studies, and Science. Children are immersed in the Spanish language using music and play in an interactive environment that teaches young children to speak Spanish through playtime activities.
• Ages: 2–12 years old
Let’s Play in Spanish offers in-person Spanish classes for kids, on-demand Spanish videos for kids, and a Spanish curriculum for schools. Spanish lessons for kids in this program combine music and laughter as the foundation for academic learning, and children are immersed in Spanish during their stay at the center in a warm and safe environment where they feel comfortable showing off their new language skills. The program includes an interactive learning environment that improves children’s Spanish reading and writing abilities, and it offers an After-school Spanish enrichment program for children in the 4½–8-year-old age group, with in-person After-school Spanish Classes now enrolling for Fall 2025. A Parent Participation Preschool is an in-person language learning class with Susy for families, and free trials are available for new families through the registration link for Parent Participation Preschool and for After-school Spanish lessons for kids. The Home Learning System is now online, and the on-demand Spanish video platform for kids uses the same methods and Spanish lessons, with worksheets, that Susy has been teaching in her California preschools. Dozens of schools across the country have licensed the preschool Spanish curriculum for preschools, kindergarten, early elementary, or daycare, and typically 1–2 emails per week are sent to mailing list subscribers.
Founder and native Spanish speaker Susy Dorn used her degree in Child Development Education and creativity as a singer-songwriter-puppeteer to create Let’s Play in Spanish. Let’s Play in Spanish has been filling Spanish classes for kids in the California Bay Area for over 20 years, and Susy’s Spanish immersion schools have been teaching and entertaining kids and their caregivers for over two decades. The preschool Spanish curriculum has kept kids from 2–12 years old engaged and learning in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 20 years. Let’s Play in Spanish offers award-winning Spanish lessons for kids and states that its immersion method is the best way to learn another language. The program’s mission statement is that Let’s Play in Spanish provides children with a foundation for learning a new language in a fun and positive way.
