North County Classical Ballet

North County Classical Ballet offers Preparatory Ballet, Bitty Ballet, and Pre-Ballet for students aged 3-6, with placement in Bitty Ballet or Pre-Ballet at the discretion of the instructors. It also offers Academy Ballet Levels 1-10 based on the Vaganova method, Ballet conditioning and stretch class for levels 1-10, beginning pointe classes starting in level 3, Adult Ballet for students ages 16 and above, Boys Ballet, Private Lessons, and choreography for gymnastics, figure skating, and ballet competition.

• Academy Ballet Levels 1-10 — Academy level classes start at level 1 through level 10. · Curriculum based on the Vaganova method.
• Ballet conditioning and stretch class — Open to all students level 1-10. · Focuses on training flexibility and strength needed for ballet.
• Beginning pointe classes — Started in level 3. · Billed as a separate class.
• Adult Ballet — Open to students of all levels, ages 16 and above. · Adult classes are open to students of all levels.
• Boys Ballet
• Private Lessons — 30 minutes for $50, 45 minutes for $65, and 60 minutes for $80.
• Choreography for Gymnastics
• Choreography for Figure Skating
• Choreography for Ballet Competition

About the provider

North County Classical Ballet is led by teacher and choreographer Valeri Tchekachev. The program says it is dedicated to bringing classical ballet to children and adults of all ages and experience levels in the North San Diego Coastal region, and that its goal is to instill a passion and love for classical ballet.
