The studio states that it is dedicated to bringing the beauty of classical ballet via the Vaganova method to the whole community, with a goal of instilling in students a passion and a love for the art of classical ballet. North County Classical Ballet notes that it welcomes dancers of all ages from Carlsbad, Encinitas, San Marcos, Oceanside, Vista, Escondido, and San Diego, and that it is currently enrolling students of all levels.
The program highlights that classical ballet is a beautiful art form for students and audiences, and that lessons in classical choreography help children develop good posture, flexibility, coordination, creative thinking, musicality, a sense of rhythm, and other skills necessary to form a highly imaginative and intelligent individual, as described by Mr. Valeri. Mr. Valeri also states that ballet performances engage audiences in a wide range of human emotion and that, at its most advanced level, ballet demonstrates the marvelous artistry of the human body, with perfect execution of the dance paired with intuitive interpretation by the performer uniting the audience and the dancer in a deeply moving experience. The training follows the Vaganova Method, which is connected to the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, officially founded in 1738. The program presents a spring show in 2026 titled Cinderella, scheduled for June 14, 2026, at 3 pm at the Oceanside Performing Arts Theater on the campus of Oceanside High School at 1 Pirates Cove, Oceanside, CA 92054.
