Reids Family Martial Arts offers training in Kenpo Karate, self-defense, and Modern Arnis Filipino martial arts. Students practice single and double rattan stick techniques, disarms, locks, takedowns, and sparring. All classes are taught by Black Belt instructors through private and group classes.

Reids Family Martial Arts is a family owned and operated martial arts school that has been dedicated to teaching self-defense and the values of the martial arts since 1965. The school offers personal attention and quality instruction in the style of Kenpo Karate, and Modern Arnis is taught, including single and double rattan stick techniques, disarms, locks, and takedowns. The Junior Black Belt Kenpo Karate program is for ages 5 and older, and all classes are taught by qualified Black Belt instructors.
The program was founded by Grandmaster Larry Reid, who held the rank of 10th Degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate, was promoted to Black Belt by Grandmaster Al Tracy and Joe Lewis, served as a hand-to-hand combat instructor for the U.S. Army, and trained law enforcement officers including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He was elected Chairman of the New York Citizens Committee on rape prevention and helped pioneer several rape prevention programs for various New York school agencies. Today, Reid's Martial Arts is owned and operated by 10th Degree Black Belt Grandmaster Linda Reid and her son, 7th Degree Black Belt and Modern Arnis Black Belt instructor Daren Reid, who was personally endorsed by the late Grandmaster Remy Presas. Reid Family Martial Arts states that it is committed to providing personal attention to every student from the Masters themselves.
Reids Family Martial Arts is also home of “Never A Victim,” a non-profit organization led by Linda Reid that is dedicated to teaching self-defense and awareness.
