USTA Training Center - West offers tennis-specific physical training for aspiring young players. Programming includes time for players to train during the day and then work out with strength and conditioning staff after their tennis workouts. The USTA Strength and Conditioning Centers used by the program include free weights, plate loaded equipment, cardiovascular machines, Freemotion® and other state-of-the-art machines, medicine balls, physioballs, and additional training tools.
All programs are under the direction of highly trained and certified physical trainers and coaches. The stated goal of USTA Training Center - West is to work with personal coaches and USTA sections to create the next wave of world-class American players.
