Adventure Time Extended Day Care includes Master Workshops, special events, visitors, and a learning specialist visitor program. Children take part in exciting science projects and a science component based on curriculum from the Lawrence Hall of Science at the University of California Berkeley, with hands-on experiments that use observation, analysis, and deduction. The program also offers sports and physical activity programs, cooperative and non-elimination games, an outdoor motor skills program, dance and music from many cultures, arts and crafts, language arts, music, art, drama, sports, games, cooking, academic enrichment, help with homework, relaxation and quiet activities, and Summer Camp activities such as computers, swimming, weekly themes, Friday Chef Days, field trips, workshops, and special guests.

Adventure Time Extended Day Care is for children entering kindergarten through sixth grade, and children must be at least 4 years and nine months old by the first day of attendance and no older than twelve years at any time during attendance. The program offers Summer Day Camp 2026 with enrollment by the week and options for 2, 3, 4, or 5 half-day or full-day sessions, and activities are centered around bi-weekly themes.
Adventure Time Extended Day Care is California licensed and has been licensed for over 40 years, and it is licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services, exceeding the standards of the California Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing. The program is fully licensed and provides traditional and Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) before and after school child care and enrichment programs in Bay Area elementary schools, including multiple Fremont elementary schools. It uses science curriculum from the U.C. Lawrence Hall of Science and the Lawrence Hall of Science at the University of California Berkeley.
All staff members are over 18 years of age and well trained, and the average teacher to child ratio is 1 to 10. Many of the head teachers and all of the administrative team have been with the organization for over thirty years. The program’s director is Mimi Albert, and site leadership includes Site Directors Lucy Macias, Jessica Andrews, Hiyas Kintanar, Amanda Faria, Ciara Woolery, Yessica Gonzalez, Grace Sy, Mavi Govea, Sangita Shah, Pat Silva, Janet Norris, Valina Sanders, Tammy Brewer, Linda Santos, Christina Brown, and Lead Teacher Denise Juarez at Niles Elementary School. Adventure Time Extended Day Care has been serving elementary school aged children and their families for over 38 years, and individual sites have been established between 1989 and 2023.
