About
Sand Youth Beach Training offers focused beach volleyball training. Participants spend each session on structured volleyball drills and play on the sand courts.
• Ages: 11–14 years old
• Schedule: Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in separate June and July sessions
• Price: Session II – $325; Session III – $325
The program is led by Jody Garry, a former college coach with 20 years of experience. The program focuses on building strong technical skills that translate directly to both the beach and indoor game. All new players sign up for the SAND program run out of the City of Monterey Sports Center. Either previous school or club experience is required, and a basic level of volleyball skill is needed for this training.
