The program also includes one-night-only dance classes such as samba de roda, gafieira, and forró, as well as yoga, hiking the redwood forest, student performances, teacher performances, and a Brazilian churrasco (typical Brazilian barbecue) on the final day of camp.

• Price: Accommodation in a permanent tent structure is available for $25 per person, and shuttle service is $50 round-trip and must be arranged in advance.

California Brazil Camp offers accommodation in permanent canvas tent structures on raised wooden platforms shared with three other campers, and campers may also bring their own tent or RV with prior notice. The main tuition covers classes and three meals per day, including Brazilian favorites, plus snacks, coffee, and tea. The campsite includes clean and comfortable bathrooms and showers, a camp store selling instruments, books, CDs, clothing, and other items of interest, and As 3 Gatinhas Cafe serving espresso drinks, Guaraná, and other cold drinks. CBC arranges shuttle service from Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa, with two shuttles on the first day of each session at 3pm and 5pm, and return trips leaving at 2:30pm and 4:30pm on the last day of camp. The program is intended for adults, but supervised children are welcome.

California Brazil Camp lists Dennis Broughton as Director and Rich Rice as Chaos Coordinator. Pictures from the camp are available from as far back as 2001. Camper comments describe the camp as having authentic knowledge and information, an exceptional combination of percussion and ensemble classes, applied theory in guitar class, and a camping environment with teachers and great music all day.
