About

JEI Learning Centre offers programs where children work on learning writing skills, learning math skills, and learning reading techniques. The program includes JEI Math, Maths, English, Reading & Writing, Problem Solving Maths, and Brain Safari as specific areas of study. Students use programmed workbooks that are designed to be self-learning and follow clear learning objectives, small steps, and a spiral structure.

• Schedule: Students come to the centre once a week, with a weekly session for each subject that is typically 50 minutes long.
• Schedule: Classes typically have a ratio of five students to one teacher, and students receive one workbook per subject each week.
• Schedule: Weekly evaluations and cumulative level tests are used to ensure mastery.

JEI Learning Centre uses the JEI Self-Learning Method with personalized learning programmes and an individualised learning programme based on each student’s needs and ability. The program uses scientifically proven diagnostic and assessment tests and a comprehensive diagnostic system that analyses test results and prescribes an individual study programme. The workbooks are spiral-structured and are part of Common Core-aligned and State Standard-aligned programmes. Classes have a low student to instructor ratio, and the approach is supported by an individualised Self-Learning System involving instructors and parents as a triad. JEI states the philosophy “A Better Life Through Better Education” and believes that all children have unlimited learning potential.

JEI has been helping children for over 40 years in achieving academic success. Well-qualified instructors work with students in the program. The mission of JEI is to improve children’s study habits through constant provision of customised programmed workbooks to reach the full potential of the student.

Parent testimonials report that diagnostic testing is used to find the causes and reasons for problems children are having and that JEI customizes the study programme for what each child needs. One parent states that “the homework hell has ended” after seeking professional help for an 8-year-old daughter. Another parent reports that children aged 6 and 4 have become more independent doing their homework and need very little help. A parent notes that a son who initially hated homework later developed the habit of doing it regularly with no reminder. Another parent describes a son who gets bored if he is not challenged and mentions concern about keeping him motivated. One testimonial states that a daughter’s grades went from Bs to straight As and another daughter’s grades went from Cs and Bs to Bs and As after attending. Another parent reports that their daughter has become a well-rounded student, developed strong fundamental knowledge in math concepts, is doing well in school, and entered into the advanced track in math.
