About the provider

The Dance School LA came to life in January 2021 as an online studio, and in June 2021 it was born as a physical space. Carissa Songhorian is the founder and Director. The school states that its goal is to foster a fun and nurturing environment where students can develop as dancers, artists, and individuals, and it presents performances at outreach events, parades, community gatherings, fundraisers, and dance competitions.

The studio offers hybrid (both in-person and live-online) dance classes. Non-discrimination policy states the studio does not discriminate against any color, race, gender, nationality, ethnicity, disability, or sexual orientation and will admit any individual interested in a dance and/or fitness education who respects these values.

What families say

“Love the staff and the instructors! Super kind, patient and great with kids. Great communication on any upcoming events of changes and are super accessible if I have questions. My 5 year old loves her ballet class, I see her practicing at home. Everyone has a great time. Strongly recommend.” — Leyla O.
