Byers Gymnastics Center offers gymnastics, competitive gymnastics, and cheerleading. The program takes place at Byers Gymnastics Center and includes training in these specific activities.
Byers Gymnastics Center staff members are certified in Concussion Training, CPR, and First Aid Training. Staff members are required to undergo background checks, become Safety Certified and SafeSport Certified with USA Gymnastics, and all staff members are TB tested. The leadership team includes Owner/Head Team Coach Rhonda H (also listed as Rhonda Hawkins), Owner/Gym Director & Recreational Coach Vikki T (also listed as Vikki Thomason), Gym Director and Team Coach Amy L, Office Manager Destiny C, Gym Director Jackie Schramm, and Special Events Director and Team Coach Elisha A. Byers Gymnastics Center sends staff to yearly gymnastics Congresses to stay updated on the latest gymnastics training techniques, and monthly staff meetings with gymnastics training are required. The competitive team philosophy focuses on integrity, honesty, strength, commitment, acceptance of others, and support among athletes, and the program is described as a “family away from home” for athletes. Elisha was named Optional Coach of the Year for 2021–2022. One staff testimonial states, “I love everything about coaching gymnastics!
