Sunrise Recreation and Park District Youth Activities offers a wide range of options, including dance classes such as Ballet: T.N.T. Dance, Baby Ballet, Pre-Ballet, and Ballet I, as well as Zumbini and Zumba Kids Jr. The program includes daycare, preschool, after school programming, preschool summer camps, and multiple summer options such as Sunrise Summer Camps, Summer Day Camps, Sport & Swim Camps, EMAC Summer Camps, Dream Enrichment Summer Camps, IntelliBricks Camps, Mad Science Summer Camps, Babysitter Training & Swim Camps, Junior Lifeguard & Swim Camp, and Rusch Park Preschool Adventure Summer Camp. • Schedule: Summer office hours run June 1–September 30, Monday–Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, and winter office hours run October 1–May 31, Monday–Friday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm; Friday Family Swim Nights are held from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
The mission of the Sunrise Recreation and Park District is to be responsive to its communities’ needs for an enhanced quality of life and to advocate for positive social interactions. SRPD has partnered with the Antelope Community Tennis Association to provide tennis lessons, leagues and camps based on the latest USTA junior tennis. The program uses concussion protocols through its Concussion Policy for children and adolescent athletes that participate in SRPD programs. Families can use online registration for programs, as well as online picnic rental requests, online facility use requests, and online pool rental requests, and potential class instructors must complete an Enrichment and Leisure Classes Application to become an instructor for the District. The Zumbini program combines music, dance and educational tools for 45 minutes of bonding, learning and fun. The District offers a NEW Digital Spring & Summer 2026 Activity Guide, an Events Calendar for 2026, and a District Transparency Website Accessibility Statement, and it notes, “Thank you for celebrating 75 years with us in 2025!”
