Coalinga AYSO Region 493 Youth Soccer offers youth soccer for children and teens. The program uses multiple dedicated fields for different age groups and team sizes, including fields labeled for U4, U6, U8, U10, and U12–U14/16 play, as well as high school practice fields.

The program follows the American Youth Soccer Organization mission of providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives. It uses a set of guiding features that include Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, and Player Development. The regional leadership includes Michael Karon, President of AYSO, who has been recognized with the Stack Leadership Award from Stack Sports for his impact in sports volunteering. The broader AYSO organization is involved in partnerships with Chicago Public Schools, the U.S. Center for Mental Health & Sport, the Northland Sports Alliance in Kansas City, and supports U.S. Soccer in work related to SafeSport.
