The Burton Karson Music Education Program provides Baroque music workshops, clinics, and presentations on campuses. It also includes dress rehearsals and concerts during the June Festival each year, and some listed events are not open to the public.

About the provider
The Burton Karson Music Education Fund was established in June 2024. The program is led by Lindsey Strand-Polyak, PhD, as Education Program Director, and Zen Edwards, the Festival’s Executive Director. It is intended to forge relationships with local public and private schools, instrumental teaching studios and Saturday music schools, community colleges and universities, and it serves local Newport Beach and greater Orange County school- and college-age students.
Some listed events are not open to the public. The program encourages families to attend dress rehearsals and concerts under the Festival’s existing student discount ticket program during the June Festival each year.
