The company has participated in international tours in China (2009, 2010, 2015), France (2010, 2018), Dubai (2011, 2012), Thailand (2016), Italy (2017), the Kingdom of Oman (2019), and Turkey (2023), and it takes part in local and international government art collaboration and projects. Children, teens, and young adults in classes are encouraged to bring water, juice, or a beverage with electrolytes such as Gatorade, to eat a light snack like a granola bar about one hour before class, to dress in black workout clothing with hair in a bun, and to avoid clothing with logos unless it is a Leyenda T-shirt. Men are encouraged to bring bandanas or hand towels for sweat, and students are asked to cover shoes with double socks to protect the dance floor or to wear ballet boots. The company offers Ballet Folklorico classes for 7-year-old children or older, teens, young adults, and a Moms class for adult women up to 58 years of age, and it creates its own choreography and routines with a stated unique style.
