Dreamor Ranch offers horseback riding lessons, including riding lessons on the trails, and the Champion Dreamor Team riding program. The program includes learning responsible horse care and works with horses that are being rescued, rehabilitated, and placed into forever homes. Activities also include community outreach and education related to horse rescue and adoption, and all monies earned from these programs go to feeding and rehabilitating horses.

Dreamor Ranch is first and foremost a rescue for horses and ponies in need, with beautiful horses available for adoption. The ranch rescues, rehabilitates, and places into forever homes horses that have been abused, neglected, or unwanted, and it works closely with San Benito Animal Control, local veterinarians, and other agencies. The Dreamor Ranch Foundation uses Dreamor Ranch as a resource in its projects and focuses on scholarship and community outreach, while also supporting the ranch’s horse rescue and rehabilitation programs. Students from 3 to 86 have learned riding and responsible horse care at Dreamor Ranch.
Dreamor Ranch was founded after a 5-month-old Palomino colt named Joey was rescued from a dog food buyer in 1976, and in the almost 40 years that followed, the ranch has rescued, rehabilitated, and placed hundreds of horses into forever homes. Mindy Sullivan leads the program, has made the study of horse behavior her life’s work, and majored in Horse Science and Behavioral Studies in college. In her 40+ years as a trainer, she has produced many champion riders in Gymkhana, Team Penning, Cattle Sorting, Jumping, and two Olympic athletes, and she maintains a close relationship with her veterinarians. The stated goal of Dreamor Ranch and the Dreamor Ranch Foundation is to build a community based on a love for horses, put horses and people together, and build leaders at the ranch and in their personal lives, with an emphasis on having a great experience over winning ribbons and buckles.
