Evolution FC offers soccer coaching for youth players. The program focuses on soccer training that allows players to work with teammates and stay active through the sport. It is a non-profit 501(c)3 soccer club that has grown to field more than 40 teams and, after a merger in 2017, at one point fielded 100 teams.
Evolution FC was established in 2010 as a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation. The founder of the club is Dave Anderson. The club is focused on the community where Dave Anderson grew up playing soccer as a kid. Evolution FC describes itself as the Premier Soccer Club for the San Francisco/Daly City Region of Northern California. The club’s philosophy is to develop technically sound, well-rounded soccer players and teams that show great character, teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and a love for the game. The organization states that it provides soccer coaching to youth so players can learn life lessons through soccer, stay active, build character, and work with teammates on sportsmanship, leadership, and overall work ethic. EFC staff coaches state that they take great pride in player development and use a holistic approach.
