Cornerstone Arts Centre Youth & Family Programs include events such as Dance in the Dark, which turns the space into a giant sleepover den with dancing, live music, sensory surprises and friendly night-time creatures. The program also features Let’s All Dance presenting Alice in Wonderland with a photo opportunity with the dancers after every show, Downland Dance presenting Cinderella – The Ballet, and Storm the Stage, where more than 100 talented young dancers from the local area perform over three nights. Other events include The Bootleg Shadows tribute concert, The Zoots’ Swinging Sixties show, and BYOB – Bring Your Own Baby Grown Up Comedy, where babies are welcome, as well as performances such as Of Mice and Men.

Since opening in 2008, Cornerstone Arts Centre has welcomed over 400,000 visitors. BYOB – Bring Your Own Baby Grown Up Comedy has received several recognitions, including WINNER: Best bring-along Baby Event (HOOP Awards), WINNER: Best Mental Health Boost for New Parents 2022 (UK Enterprise Awards), WINNER: Best Comedy Event for Families 2023 (Prestige Awards), and a further nomination with text truncated in the source. More than 100 talented young dancers from the local area come together for three nights of energy, creativity and show-stopping performances as part of Storm the Stage. Cornerstone Arts Centre is described as a modern, purpose-built space with excellent access for all customers and as a safe space that is inclusive, accessible, and welcoming to all people, and visitors can eat and drink at the café, take part in classes or workshops, or browse a free gallery.
