Summer holds a B.S. in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration from California Polytechnic State University, has 3+ years of outdoor learning experience and 10+ years of hiking and outdoor experience, is First Aid and CPR certified, and is fully vaccinated including COVID-19. Multiple staff members are First Aid and CPR certified, FBI/DOJ background verified, fully vaccinated including COVID-19, and the program lists a Custodian of Records for background checks and Mandated Reporter certification among its credentials.
