Folsom Arts Association Art Camp includes an Art Camp along with related art activities such as Art Demonstrations, Ceramics Demonstrations, a Ceramics Workshop, bus trips, and a workshop with Bruce Hancock. The program’s activities include both general art and ceramics experiences.
• Schedule: Art Camp sessions are scheduled for January 9–11, March 6–8, May 1–3, July 10–12, September 11–13, and November 6–8, with additional related activities offered throughout the year.
Folsom Arts Association states that cultivating and supporting artists and art appreciation guide the association, and that the artistic diversity of its membership is its strength. The association’s leadership team includes Lori Anderson (President), Annie O’Connell (Vice President), Carol Quinn (Secretary), Tony Schoen (Treasurer), Tim Midboe (Membership), Cindy Abraham (At-Large), Sandy Hilton (At-Large and City of Folsom Liaison), and Joyce Fuchs (Website/Newsletter). Folsom Arts Association hosts monthly Artist Demonstrations and quarterly Ceramics Demonstrations, and members teach art classes and workshops and exhibit their work through various shows throughout the year. Art demos are free to the public, the association has a scholarship program awarding $1,000 to a Folsom Lake College student, and it posts low-resolution photos on its website to help guard against misuse of artworks. The association notes that “Red Cherries in Glass” by Anthony Rogone received Best of Show for the “Magnum Opus 2026.”
