Folsom Family Taekwondo Center offers Taekwondo along with a wide range of related martial arts classes, including Competition Sword Skills, Competition Bo-Staff, Competition Performance Nunchuku, and Specialized Taekwondo Kicking Skills classes. Students can also take Cardio Kick Boxing, Advanced Cardio Kick Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts-Cage Skills Workout, Mixed Martial Arts - Cage Fitness workout, Hapkido sweeps/throws/takedowns, Grappling for the Beginners, Escrima single & double stick skills, Sword Skills Workout, MMA/TKD Workout, Instructor, Trainee & Jr. Leader Workout, and Hosinsul Kukkiwon Seminars. All seminars are 1 hour in duration.

Folsom Family Taekwondo Center has been providing professional martial arts training for over 42 years and offers many class options including Tiny Tigers (3–5 yrs), Color Belt Students (6–12 yrs), Teens (13–16 yrs), and Adults (16 and up). The center is owned and operated by Grand Master Jack Corrie, a 9th degree Black Belt, with a leadership team that includes Master Frega, Master Beard, and Mrs. Gonzalez. It has the largest martial arts staff in the area, with over 200 years of combined martial arts experience between staff members, and describes its student to instructor ratios as the best in the business.

Folsom Family Taekwondo Center is a Kukkiwon Certified School and Folsom's only Kukkiwon Licensed School, with instructors who are certified and re-certified every 2 years. Its heritage is rooted originally in the Korean Moo Duk Kwan, and it is a member in good standing with the Moo Do Taekwondo Association, associated with USA Taekwondo and the World Taekwondo Federation. Rank at Folsom Family Taekwondo Center is earned and not given, examined under pressure against an industry-recognized curriculum using the Kukkiwon's strict quantifiable standards, and Black Belts are not examined at the school but must present themselves to an independent regional or national Kukkiwon examination panel; rank issued is recognized internationally, and Black Belts are ranked and recognized through the Korean Kukkiwon.

The center is Folsom's ONLY Award Winning Kukkiwon Certified School and has been voted Folsom's "Best Martial Arts" program 10 years in a row, inducted into the "Best Martial Arts" Hall of Fame 2022, and inducted in the Best of Best Hall of Fame, voted #1 for 10 straight years. It was voted Top 5 Martial Arts School in all of Sacramento from 2014 through 2025 and received the FTKD 2023 Kukkiwon 50 year award. Its programs have been responsible for training over a thousand black belt students and many National Champions, and it reports a very high retention rate with students who have been with the school for 30 years or longer.

According to its mission statement, Grand Master Corrie believes that building strong independent individuals able to protect and defend themselves along with ethical character is the product of the training at Folsom Family Taekwondo Center, and he has worked to promote and pursue training practices in Taekwondo that he considers to be the very best. The center states that, as a result, he is committed to provide what he describes as the finest martial arts programs available anywhere at an affordable price to the families the studio serves. Through its association with USA Taekwondo and the World Taekwondo Federation, the center has access to the Olympic Taekwondo circuit in the U.S. and the International Olympic Taekwondo circuit.

One parent testimonial states that they were grateful to have found Folsom Family Taekwondo to provide Taekwondo instruction for their children, that they believed the instruction was world class, and that they appreciated efforts to perfect their children’s Taekwondo techniques and improve their moral character.
