Folsom Music Lessons offers private music lessons in guitar, bass, drums, vocals, piano, saxophone, violin, ukulele, banjo, fiddle, and clarinet. Each student receives 48 lessons per year with experienced teachers who work one-on-one and tailor the curriculum to specific needs as part of a comprehensive, hands-on education in modern music making and playing. The program welcomes students of all ages and all skill levels and pairs students with the teacher who best fits their style and vibe.
• Schedule: Each student receives 48 lessons per year; the draft date for autopay is the 26th of every month for the future month’s tuition.
• Price: All students must be enrolled in an autopay system.
Folsom Music Lessons has been providing private music lessons to Folsom and the greater Sacramento area since 2016 and is family owned by husband and wife Ross and Jessica Standley, who have owned and operated Folsom Music Lessons LLC since 2016. Ross Standley, the owner and guitar instructor, has been playing guitar for over 30 years and teaching guitar and bass for over 20 years. The program states a focus on music for mental health and offers a free lesson when scheduling. If an instructor is out for a performance, gig, or illness, a substitute is provided for the scheduled class. The program is closed for four weeks every year without refunds or makeups during spring break, 4th of July week, Thanksgiving week, and Christmas/New Year’s week. Owners Ross and Jessica Standley live in Historic Folsom, are highly regarded in the community, and are recipients of awards from several local magazines.
