About
Junior Zookeeper Camp includes touring the zoo, zoo sanctuary tours, and meeting animal ambassadors. Campers take part in hands-on activities such as creating enrichment items, assisting with animal care, and animal enclosure cleaning. The program also includes arts and crafts and time for play.

• Schedule: 5-day session, 07/06/2026–07/10/2026, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–1:00 pm

Each week has a theme and unique activities, and Week 4 has the theme “Animals from your Backyard – Discover local wildlife and learn how to identify native species.” Camp activities are subject to change based on the needs of the animals, weather conditions, and other factors. The program states a commitment to providing positive experiences for children of all abilities. Close-toed and heeled shoes and appropriate attire are required, and participants are asked to bring a bag lunch.
