Kids Inc. Preschool and Discovery Center offers activities such as music, art, story time, music and movement, outdoor activities, reading, math, and arts and crafts. Children also take part in cooking projects, homework help, and playground exploration and play. The program includes coaching for girls’ basketball, volleyball, and youth soccer.

Kids Inc. Preschool and Discovery Center follows a philosophy based on the Reggio Emilia approach. The Infant Program includes individualized feeding, diapering, and napping. The Toddler Program includes baby signs, music, art, and story time. The Preschool Program includes child-centered activities such as art, music and movement, outdoor activities, reading, and math. The school-age program includes a wide range of activities with freedom for children to choose activities, and transportation is provided for this program. Each school provides a healthy morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack daily, and a weekly menu is shared with families. Families receive a monthly newsletter and use a family communication app to connect with teachers and staff. Children are assessed through observation and documentation, collection of work samples, and photographing work over time. Each school has a playground designed for exploration and play.

Staff credentials include Kelli Vaccaro with over 25 years of experience in the child care industry; Alex Gray with a B.A. in Human Development; Kim Leonard with over 14 years of experience as a Preschool Teacher, a B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development from San Jose State University, training in Program for Infant and Toddler Care, Handwriting without Tears, and Zoo-phonics, and experience using the Desired Results Developmental Profile; and Meenakshi Roy with a Master’s Degree in Literature who is pursuing an Early Childhood Education Degree from Folsom Lake College.
Kids Inc. accepts state subsidy programs that help families pay for tuition. NeuroKids provides speech therapy in children’s preschools and daycares, including Kids Inc., as well as in homes, at their therapy space, and via telehealth throughout California. Kids Inc. provides a Military & First Responder Discount to honor military and first responder families.
