Vista Talons AAU Boys Basketball is a competitive AAU basketball program where players take part in competitive AAU basketball and basketball skill development, including passing, shooting, dribbling, rebounding, and defense. The program also includes instruction in the core principles of Vista del Lago High School’s offensive and defensive schemes.
• Ages: 8–13 years old
• Price: Board members get a discount on their player's registration.
Vista Talons is intended for boys in grades 3rd–8th who plan to attend Vista del Lago High School in Folsom, CA. The program’s stated goal is for each player to develop a high level of proficiency in basketball fundamentals while learning the core principles of the high school’s offensive and defensive schemes. The leadership team includes a President, listed as Laurie Adamson. Vista Talons has a sister program for girls called Lady Talons. There are opportunities to shadow current board members to learn leadership roles such as Vice President and Secretary, and board members receive a discount on their player’s registration. The program’s website is powered by SportsEngine’s Sports Relationship Management (SRM) software.
