About

Camp Mendocino offers a unique experience for young people, focusing on activities that bring campers, Leaders in Training (LITs), and staff together through the Camp Council. This focus group allows participants to brainstorm and plan a variety of activities. Additionally, the Camp2College (C2C) program is available year-round for teens who excelled in the LIT Program, preparing them for post-secondary education or a defined plan after high school.

• Ages: 8–17 years old
• Location: 380 Fulton Street San Francisco, CA 94102

Camp Mendocino's mission is to enable and inspire all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Approximately 40% of campers are members of Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco, with the remaining 60% coming from the Bay Area and beyond. The camp is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). One parent shared that their child returned from camp happy and more mature, having enjoyed making new friends and maintaining a great sleep schedule.
