Sláinte Volleyball Club

Sláinte Volleyball Club offers volleyball for young athletes through activities such as the Rising Youth Program (Beginners), 9man Volleyball, beach and grass volleyball, and summer training and open gym. The program includes training and forms both girls teams and boys teams.

Sláinte Volleyball Club provides competitive and developmental programs for boys and girls aged 8 to 18. The club has been elevating young athletes' volleyball skills and life lessons since 2001 and has over 25 years of excellence with over 500 years of combined coaching experience. It operates as a non-profit organization and focuses on fostering the growth of versatile players in a fun yet competitive environment, with a focus that extends beyond the scoreboard to teaching values, character, and the joy of the game. The club is dedicated to cultivating well-rounded players in an enjoyable and competitive setting and has been a part of the San Francisco community for more than 25 years, sponsoring the San Francisco 9 Man Inc. volleyball teams Smash, Sky, Lady Smash, and SF Wave. The name Sláinte comes from the Irish word for “health” and is pronounced “SLAWN-cha,” and is described as more than just a name, but a toast to well-being and camaraderie.
