Sláinte Volleyball Club offers volleyball for young athletes, including training, girls teams, boys teams, and tryouts. Sláinte Volleyball Club has been part of the San Francisco community since 2001 and notes more than 25 years of involvement there. The club operates as a non-profit organization and offers competitive and developmental programs for boys and girls aged 8 to 18. The coaching staff is described as having over 500 years of combined coaching experience. Sláinte Volleyball Club sponsors the San Francisco 9 Man Inc. volleyball teams Smash, Sky, Lady Smash, and SF Wave. The club’s mission states that it aims to impart lifelong lessons and skillsets that extend beyond the court, equip athletes with skills to compete at the highest levels of volleyball, cultivate well-rounded players in an enjoyable and competitive setting, and support qualities such as being a supportive teammate, maintaining a positive attitude, nurturing a strong work ethic, showing respect and support for fellow players, and building confidence in themselves and their team.
