Bubble Up Swim School

Bubble Up Swim School offers group swim lessons, 1-on-1 private swim lessons, semi-private swim lessons, an intensive swim program, and lessons with Alia. Group lessons are 30 minutes long, with 20 minutes for the youngest children. The intensive swim program includes 10 one-on-one lessons held Monday to Friday over two weeks.

Programs

• Group Swim Lessons — 3 months to 100+ years young · $160–$544 per month · 30-minute lessons; 20 minutes for youngest ones. Available at LA Fitness Fountain Valley and Woodbury locations.
• 1-on-1 Private Swim Lessons — 3 months to 100+ years young · $94–$1,512 per month · 30-minute private lessons for ages 3 and over; 20-minute private lessons for ages under 3.
• Intensive Swim Program — Ages 3 and over; ages under 3 · 10, 1:1 lessons taken Monday to Friday over the course of two weeks · $1,000–$1,500 · Signature program. Limited availability. Must reach out to schedule.
• Semi-Private Swim Lessons — all ages · $300–$1,008 per month · 2:1 instruction. Parent(s) is/are responsible for filling both slots, otherwise lesson will revert to a 30-Min Private Lesson.
• Lessons with Alia — ages 3 and over; ages under 3 · $100–$150 per session · Available in limited quantities. Alia is currently available through mid-October and will resume February 2027.

About the provider

Bubble Up Swim School says it has 30 years of actual, hands-on experience and lists 35 years for Alia’s experience. Its mission is to make each client water safe. The program is based on the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program, and hand-selected instructors must meet rigorous standards, including previous experience working with children and a thorough background check. It is insured with a $1 million general liability policy.

Any student apprehensive and upset by being in the water, working with a new instructor, or swim lessons in general is required to initially enroll in at least two swim lessons per week. Strict 24-hour cancellation policy; changes or cancellations less than 24-hours prior to lesson start time forfeit lesson payment. Self-registration available through Client Intake Form.
