Youth Basketball Programs at Soar High Academy include Youth Basketball Camps that use stations, drills, games, and competitions designed for kids of all skill levels. The program focuses on basketball and also offers related activities such as Soccer, Handball, Volleyball, Fencing, Chess, Advanced Math, Debate, Science, Speech and Debate, Writing, Math Olympiad coaching, Math Kangaroo competitions coaching, Chess Class, Writing Class, and Advance Math Class. Tournaments are organized for 1st–2nd Grade, 3rd–4th Grade, 5th–6th Grade, and 7th–8th Grade.

• Schedule: Youth Basketball Camps run 5 days with 1 session per day, and each session is 7 hours; camp days are 3–6 hours per day. Basketball classes and tournaments are scheduled in the evenings, with weekday basketball sessions grouped by grade level and weekend tournaments at 6pm and 7pm.

Soar High Academy states that Youth Basketball Camps are dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of basketball to boys and girls in a safe and enjoyable environment through stations, drills, games, and competitions designed for kids of all skill levels, with a focus on developing the right attitude, character, and mental approach to the game. The leadership team includes Aida Prudhomme (CEO and co-founder), Ronald Brazil (Secretary), Juhi Goel (Treasurer), and Andrew Prudhomme (member of the Board of Directors and co-founder). Mr. Ronald Brazil has over 31 years of teaching experience in elementary and secondary education, 10 years of experience coaching basketball teams for grades 3rd–8th in the Saint Joseph CYO program, and 4 years as a freshman and Junior Varsity coach at Kennedy High School in Fremont, with specialized knowledge and experience in developing basketball skills for ages 5–15 and selecting students for age-level tournament teams. Aida Prudhomme is a former professional athlete overseas who played as a professional player for 12 consecutive years and has almost 13 years in services development for national and international competitions, including community visibility and networking, public relations, fundraising, asset management, board and staff development, and fiscal oversight.
Soar High Academy’s mission is to create an accepting and healthy environment for children to supplement their school experience and use academics and athletics to help students develop themselves as individuals. The mission statement includes a focus on strong education through classes such as Advanced Math, Debate, and Science, and on using sports like Basketball, Soccer, Handball, Volleyball, Fencing, and Chess to imbue students with the ideals of dignity, responsibility, and competitive excellence while promoting a healthy lifestyle. The organization states that in all academic, athletic, and social settings, personal respect and good sportsmanship are just as important as winning or losing, and that its mission is to empower children and students from all communities with a place to expand their horizons with the guidance of supportive mentors.

Staff and volunteers are trained in Safe Sport, and academic teachers are trained in CPR and Child Development courses from the Red Cross.
