Ronald Brazil has over 31 years of teaching experience in elementary and secondary education, 10 years of experience coaching basketball for grades 3rd–8th in the Saint Joseph CYO program, 4 years as a freshman and Junior Varsity coach at Kennedy High School in Fremont, and an M.A. in Education. Juhi Goel has over 10 years of experience as a bank financial advisor, with responsibilities such as reconciling bank statements, managing cash flow, tracking budgets, handling funds, and providing financial reports, and holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing. Andrew Prudhomme worked for 6 years as a researcher at UCSD, currently works as a senior software engineer in San Francisco, and holds an M.S. in Computer Science from UCSD.

Soar High Academy states that its staff and volunteers are trained in Safe Sport, and that its academic teachers are trained in CPR and Child development courses from the Red Cross. The organization is legally registered in the state of California, has legal nonprofit status, and is tax exempt.
