AYSO Region 28 Garden Grove is part of the American Youth Soccer Organization, which has a mission of providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives. The region is connected with leadership that includes Michael Karon, President of AYSO. AYSO has partnerships with BEEUP Snacks as the Official Fruit Snack Partner for the 2025–2026 season and with the US Center for Mental Health & Sport focused on player and volunteer wellness. AYSO also has a partnership with Northland Sports Alliance expanding soccer programming in Kansas City and a partnership with Chicago Public Schools to enhance youth sports programming. AYSO offers an Extra Program with guidelines, has a Kids Zone, and maintains a Return to Play Guidance microsite. Michael Karon, President of AYSO, was recognized by Stack Sports for his impact in the world of sports volunteering.
