Little Sunshine’s Playhouse® of Granite Bay

Little Sunshine’s Playhouse® of Granite Bay offers activities such as Book Club, Cooking Class, Music, Soccer, Spanish, and Yoga as part of its program. The program uses a Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum and classrooms that allow students to self-direct and self-pace their interests. Educators attend to children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in a setting described as a comforting home-like environment and a child’s home away from home.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–6:30pm, with flexible full-time and part-time options

Little Sunshine’s Playhouse® of Granite Bay is an all-inclusive, private preschool program that provides educational child care to infants and children ages 6 weeks through pre-kindergarten in the Roseville, Rocklin, Loomis, and Granite Bay communities. The program’s Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool and child care approach includes classrooms designed to spark imagination, inspire questions, and encourage exploration every day. Its curriculum for curious minds focuses on learning through play and encourages social, emotional, physical, and linguistic growth, with each month bringing fresh themes, original projects, and new materials to inspire creativity and collaboration.

The mission of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse® of Granite Bay is to create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn, using a Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum that sparks curiosity and creativity through hands-on learning in a space that feels like home. Little Sunshine’s Playhouse® of Granite Bay opened in 2017 and was the first Little Sunshine’s Playhouse in the state of California, while the first Little Sunshine’s opened in 2002.
