Gualala Arts

Gualala Arts offers Clay Studio sessions with Jane Head, Tai Chi with instructor Justine Rosenthal, Life Drawing, Martial Arts with Martial Arts Master Lini Lieberman, the Gualala Arts Mixed Media Interest Group, and a Piano Group. Listed times include Monday from 11 am to 4 pm for Clay Studio, every other Wednesday from 2 to 5 pm for Life Drawing, Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. for Martial Arts, second and fourth Tuesdays from noon to 4 pm for the Mixed Media Interest Group, and Fridays from 6 to 8 pm for Piano Group.

Programs

• On-going Class Gualala Arts Clay Studio — Monday, 11am - 4pm; summer hours may vary · Instructor: Jane Head. $15 for 1 session; $70/Five Sessions; $100/month; $600/year as of September 1.
• Tai Chi — $60 per month · Please contact instructor to inquire about class availability. Instructor: Justine Rosenthal. Gualala Arts Auditorium or outside deck.
• Life Drawing — Every other Wednesday, 2-5pm · $20 per session · Bi-weekly sessions. Open to all skill levels, including beginners. Upstairs at Gualala Arts Center.
• Martial Arts — Wednesdays, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. · $45 per month · Instructor: Martial Arts Master Lini Lieberman. Arts Center.
• Gualala Arts Mixed Media Interest Group — Second and Fourth Tuesdays, noon - 4 pm · $5 per session · Upstairs Classroom. Drop-in session limited to 15 people.
• Piano Group — Fridays, 6-8 pm · Pianists and other area musicians are welcome. Contact Dianne for location.

About the provider

Gualala Arts has been promoting public interest and participation in the arts since 1961. It serves Sonoma and Mendocino County coastal residents and visitors with year-round programs of art, music, theater, and education. It gives scholarships to local high school seniors each year and provides concerts, plays, and art classes within the public schools.
