Lima Taekwondo & Martial Arts Academy

Lima Taekwondo & Martial Arts Academy offers Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, children's classes, adult classes, competition classes, Women's Self Defense, and a Women's Jiu Jitsu Self Defense Program. The program includes instruction at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, represented by 10 color belts, with children's classes subdivided into smaller groups by belt color or level. Children's classes make up about two-thirds of the academy, with two age groups for kids: NINJAS (ages 3–5) and JUNIORS (ages 6–12).

Lima Taekwondo & Martial Arts Academy has 45 years of experience and was founded in the mid-1990s by Grandmaster Andre Lima. The academy is led by CEO Master Christianny Lima. Grandmaster Andre Lima is officially certified by the World Taekwondo Federation as an 8th Degree Black Belt and holds an internationally recognized Kukkiwon diploma, and all instructors and masters are officially certified by the Kukkiwon in South Korea. The academies are official members of the California Taekwondo Association, the USA Taekwondo Federation, and the World Taekwondo Federation. The staff includes national champions and former students from the academy, and many adult classes usually have an equal number of women and men, with business professionals, teachers, students, moms, dads, and entire families training together. The primary focus of teaching at Lima Taekwondo & Martial Arts Academy is education, and its Taekwondo program is described as an authentic martial arts program that is fun, safe, and educational.
