Lima Taekwondo & Martial Arts Academy

Lima Taekwondo & Martial Arts Academy offers children’s classes, adult classes, Black Belt Club classes, BASIC program classes, competition classes, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and women’s self defense. Children’s classes are grouped into Little Ninjas, Juniors, and Pre-Teen & Teen, and classes are available seven days a week. The academy also provides private one-on-one instruction at any time, including weekends.

About the provider

Lima Taekwondo & Martial Arts Academy says it has been around since 1979 and was founded and established in the mid-1990s. Its leadership team includes Grandmaster Andre Lima, Grandmaster Chris Lima, and Grandmaster Christianny Paiva Lima. Grandmaster Andre Lima is certified by the World Taekwondo Federation as an 8th Degree Black Belt and holds the Kukkiwon diploma, and all instructors and masters hold official Kukkiwon certification from South Korea. The academies are official members of the California Taekwondo Association, USA Taekwondo, World Taekwondo, and Kukkiwon.

At LIMA TKD, students are not asked to take part in any competition; it is their decision. The school offers at least three instructors in every session. The BASIC program is for two or three classes per week; the UNLIMITED program/BLACK BELT CLUB allows unlimited weekly classes.
