About

Summer Athletics Camps includes basketball, volleyball, and cross country sessions that focus on skill developmental drills, shooting technique, footwork, and running at a beautiful campus. Campers take part in high-energy training focused on fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, along with fun activities. Each camper receives a complimentary Nike Sports Camp t-shirt.

• Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: Multiple four-day sessions in June and July, with day camps generally running between morning and mid-afternoon and an intermediate/advanced volleyball evening option

Moreau Catholic High School is dedicated to the legacy and values of the Congregation of Holy Cross and its founder Blessed Basil Moreau, and is a college-preparatory school committed to outstanding achievement. As a community of faith, it prepares students through academic, social, and spiritual learning experiences that form and transform them as they become responsible citizens of a global community. The partnership between the family and school community is described as guiding students to higher levels of spiritual, social, and academic development, supported by collaboration among the school community and the Diocese of Oakland. Moreau Catholic High School is a recognized 501(c)3 organization and emphasizes four major themes: “Building Respect,” “Educating Hearts and Minds,” “Being Family,” and “Bringing Hope.” The school offers personalized counseling, a 13:1 teacher-student ratio, 22 Honors and 24 Advanced Placement courses, and has over 50 teams in 21 different sports.

Frank Knight Basketball Camp is led by Frank Knight, who is described as one of the top high school coaches in California. Nike Volleyball Camp is led by Head Volleyball Coach Jerico Abanico, and campers in the All Skills Day Camp may be grouped by age, skill, or experience at the Director’s discretion. Nike Cross Country Camp is open to runners of all ability levels, ages 10–17. Nike Girls Basketball Camp receives coaching and instruction from professional players of the Women’s Premier Basketball Association and is led by Faatimah A, the founder and CEO of the WPBA. Patrick Landeza serves as Director of Auxiliary Programming and Community Outreach and Director of Summer Programming. For Frank Knight Basketball Camp Session I and II and the Nike Volleyball All Skills Day Camp, lunch is not provided and campers are asked to bring a sack or packed lunch, and for Nike Cross Country Camp, campers are asked to bring a packed lunch and healthy snacks; for the Nike Volleyball Intermediate/Advanced Evening Camp, meals are not provided and campers are asked to eat before or after camp.
