The Dancers' Studio was established in 2004 and is led by Director Victoria Jauregui. The studio’s mission statement is that The Dancers’ Studio offers professional dance training in a professional facility and caring environment. The facility includes a professional flooring system with a sprung sub-floor made of foam pads and a thin wooden frame under the plywood, and a Marley top-floor that is a vinyl overlay used as the dance surface and is not slippery. The program emphasizes classical technique in ballet, jazz, and tap classes, and terminology is taught and stressed in each class to prepare dancers for opportunities outside the studio. The Dancers’ Studio offers recreational classes, performance opportunities, and competitive teams. It also provides the youth in the community with a safe place to learn, grow, set goals, and explore their talents.
