About
Nature Camp offers a variety of outdoor activities including biking, hiking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, and creek walking. Participants will have the opportunity to experience a special bus trip to San Gregorio and Pescadero, as well as participate in biking 'tune-up' days.
• Ages: 9–13 years old
• Schedule: June 16th to June 20th (Week 1), June 23rd to June 27th (Week 2), daily sessions begin at 8:15 am and conclude at 3:00 pm
• Location: South Hillsborough Elementary School, the District Collaboration Office, or the South Preschool classroom
The leadership team includes Jenelle Graville, a Reading Specialist, Sally James, a Teacher/Librarian, and Perry Kittredge, a Math Teacher. The mission of Nature Camp is to inspire children to love and preserve nature while living an eco-friendly life. Participants are advised to bring a lunch, snacks, water bottles, a beach towel, personal health products, a Nature Camp journal, and a Clipper Card. Nature Camp Educators will provide bike locks and first aid equipment.
