Little Surf Co. Summer Camps offers structured days that include surfing fundamentals, water safety, wave selection, paddling, and catching waves. Campers take part in surf and safety basics, a surf stretch, a surf session, H2O and sunscreen breaks, a lunch break, beach sports and beach activities, time with an ocean education speaker, surf plus free water play, and creating beach-inspired and ocean-based art. Little Ocean Explorers campers join water play, hands-on STEM activities, exploring the shoreline, and ocean-based art projects that follow specific ocean themes.
• Ages: 3–14 years old
• Schedule: Summer 2026 Surf Camp runs Monday–Friday, 9:00am–1:00pm, and Little Ocean Explorers Summer Camp 2026 runs Monday–Friday, 9:00am–12:00pm, with available weeks from June 15–19 through August 10–14 and themed 3-week Little Ocean Explorers sessions (Ocean Animals, Ocean Environments, Ocean Science).
• Price: Summer 2026 Surf Camp is $435 per week for ages 4–14 or $100 per drop-in day; Little Ocean Explorers Summer Camp 2026 for ages 3–5 is $325 per week, $75 per individual drop-in day, or $895 per full 3-week themed session.
Little Surf Co. Summer Camps is founded and owned by Jason and Kayla Graney. All instructors are CPR certified, and Coach Jason has 20 years of experience as a surf instructor, is American Red Cross CPR certified, and is a first aid/CPR/AED instructor. The program is permitted by the City of Huntington Beach to instruct lessons year-round. For Surf Camp, boards, wetsuits, and rashguards are provided, and campers are asked to bring a towel, water, sunscreen, and a snack. A professional photographer is scheduled to be out weekly for Summer 2026 Surf Camp, and an ocean education speaker is included weekly as part of the camp. The Little Squirts group serves ages 4–6, the Surf Groms group serves ages 7–14, and Little Ocean Explorers is offered for children ages 3–5 with priority given to multi-week enrollment and limited spots each week to maintain small group sizes. The stated mission is to provide an educational, inspirational, and safe surf experience for all levels of surfers, with the goal that each student leaves a session with new confidence and respect for the ocean.
