Glendon Gymnastics Recreational Programs

Glendon Gymnastics Recreational Programs includes Parent & Tot classes for children 18 months to 3 years, Kindergym for ages 3 to 5, Junior Co-ed Classes for ages 4 to 6, Girls Youth and Senior Classes for ages 5 and up, Girls Advanced for ages 6 and up, and Day Camps for ages 4 and up. The activities include gymnastics skills on bars, beam, floor, and vault, plus physically active games and crafts in day camps.

Programs

• Parent & Tot — 18 months - 3 years · Class designed to enhance and challenge large motor skills with a parent or caregiver; introduces fitness, physical movement, strength, coordination and flexibility.
• Kindergym — 3 - 5 years · Structured class focused on independence, physical strength, coordination, flexibility, self-confidence, and basic gymnastics skills on bars, beam, floor and vault.
• Junior Co-ed Classes — 4 - 6 years · Introduces boys and girls to fundamental gymnastics skills on vault, bars, beam and floor; focuses on fun, fitness and developing fundamental skills for recreational gymnastics.
• Girls Youth and Senior Classes — 5+ · Basic, intermediate, and advanced gymnastics skills with rotations on vault, bars, beam and floor; grouped by age and ability level.
• Girls Advanced — 6+ · Advanced recreational program emphasizing core and advanced skills with more focus on proper body positions and form.
• Day Camps — 4+ for half day camps; 5+ for full day camps · Day camps combine physically active games, gymnastics and crafts; full day camps are available for children age 5 and up and half day camps for ages 4 and up.

About the provider

Glendon Gymnastics is owned and operated by Dan Glendon, who is recognized within the Waterloo region, provincial, and national gymnastics communities as a top-tier master coach. Coaches are professionally trained and NCCP certified, and Glendon Gymnastics is a proud member of Gymnastics Ontario. The mission statement is: “Where every child feels like a champion!”

All-inclusive pricing with insurance registration fees built in. Flexible payment plans are available for gym sessions, with payments split into 2-3 installments for Fall, Winter and Spring Sessions. No mandatory fundraising or service hours, no bingo, no social fees and no cleaning deposits.
