La Canada Junior Theater is now in its eighteenth year. The program states that it offers classes in singing, dance, and acting and that its programs emphasize team building and student leadership while helping students expand their confidence and performance skills. It limits enrollment to allow for smaller class sizes and more individual attention, has professional adult teachers with older teens acting as assistants, and provides adult supervision at all times, including during rehearsal breaks and lunch. LCJT Summer Camps are described as fun, and the program notes that experienced, fun, and innovative teaching is combined with fully realized professional level musical theater productions. La Canada Junior Theater states that it has quickly become the premiere musical theater program for children in the San Gabriel Valley and that kids build lifelong friendships with fellow cast members.

The leadership team includes Susan Spann as Artistic Director and Producer; Deborah Lederer Robin as Director and Musical Director; Holly Seidcheck as Choreographer; Tayah Howard as Director; and Zoe Bright as Director, Producer, and Production Manager. The program describes four new 2026 Summer Camp Programs.
