• Ages: 2–18 years old
• Schedule: Class and camp options are available on weekdays and Saturdays, with additional recital dates in July 2026.
Hart Academy of Dance offers four studio programs: Academy, Performance, Company, and a Cheer, Dance, & Song Training Track that prepares dancers for junior high and high school dance, cheer, and song teams and requires enrollment in at least two weekly classes. The program holds an optional end-of-year recital in a professional theater where all students are invited to participate, with recital dates scheduled for July 16–19, 2026, at various times in the afternoon and evening. Hart Academy of Dance has two professional, fully equipped locations with over 15,000 square feet and 10 classrooms, and the facilities serve dancers from age two to adult. All staff members are American Red Cross Certified and have been professionally background checked. The owner, academy director, and competition director is Diana Gregor, who bought the studio on June 1, 2006, and states that nineteen years have passed since then. The stated mission is to train children to become well-rounded dancers recreationally or competitively, to shape children into versatile, professional, and confident dancers, to support each child's growth as a dancer and a person, and to provide students with a “second home” with teachers as good role models while teaching strong technique. Hart Academy of Dance is recognized as the fastest-growing dance studio in Orange County, is described as an award-winning studio, and is a “More Than Just Great Dancing!” affiliated studio. It is described as offering top-rated youth dance training in Orange County, with programs that grow alongside each student and support beginners through advanced dancers, and a community described as a lifelong family where relationships go beyond the dance floor. The Hart Store offers Hart Academy merchandise, dance shoes, tights, and dance wear, with in-studio and online orders available for pick-up. Hart Academy of Dance has supported the local community through a donation to Olinda Elementary, as mentioned in a parent testimonial.
Parent and dancer testimonials describe teachers as helpful, kind, and knowledgeable, and say that dancers love their teachers and classes. Parents mention that their children enjoy learning, like the quality of costumes, and look forward to recitals. One parent describes the studio as a second home where their children learned to dance and socialize with peers while making friends. A dancer and alumna describe learning life skills such as time management, posture, and work ethic, and refer to the teachers as excellent role models.
