Hart Academy of Dance

Hart Academy of Dance offers Pre-School Combo for preschool aged dancers, with ballet and tap or jazz and hip hop in an hour-long class. It also offers Ballet & Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Conditioning, Acrobatics, Turns & Leaps, Technique, Pom, and Acting, with classes that focus on specific skills such as coordination, rhythm, musicality, turns, leaps, stretching, voice projection, and handling pom-poms.

• Hip-Hop — Ages as of November 1, 2026 · Energetic and fun-filled class where young dancers learn and express themselves through hip-hop music.
• Contemporary — Ages as of November 1, 2026 · Combines elements of ballet and jazz to focus on expressing emotions and storytelling through movement.
• Conditioning — Ages as of November 1, 2026 · Fitness and exercise class designed to improve strength, endurance, flexibility, and physical conditioning.
• Acrobatics — Ages as of November 1, 2026 · To be integrated into other dance styles.
• Turns & Leaps — Ages as of November 1, 2026 · Focuses on mastering turns, jumps, and leaps essential to all styles of dancer.
• Technique — Hones in on technical skills such as leg extensions, turn combinations, stretching, leaps, floor work, etc.
• Pom — Ages as of November 1, 2026 · Basic techniques of pom dancing, including handling pom-poms, energetic routines, memorization, posture, and performance quality.
• Acting — Ages as of November 1, 2026 · Learn the foundations of acting such as reading lines, voice projection, and acting for camera versus audience.

• Facility hours: Location 1: Monday 2:30 PM-9:00 PM; Tuesday 9:45 AM-1:00 PM and 2:30 PM-9:00 PM; Wednesday 2:30 PM-9:00 PM; Thursday 9:45 PM-1:30 PM and 3:00 PM-9:00 PM; Friday 2:30 PM-8:00 PM; Saturday 8:30 AM-3:00 PM; Sunday closed. Location 2: closed.

About the provider

Diana Gregor is the Owner, Academy Director, and Competition Director. She bought the studio on June 1, 2006. Hart Academy of Dance has won many prestigious awards and is a certified “More Than Just Great Dancing!” studio. It also partners with Down For Dance, a specialized, inclusive dance and arts nonprofit program for individuals with Down syndrome and other abilities.

All new students are offered one free trial lesson. Annual registration fee is $35 per student or $60 per family. Autopay is required for tuition and monthly fees. Tuition and monthly fees are due on the 7th of each month. All ages for classes are as of November 1, 2025, and the director reserves the right to approve the correct level for each dancer. Makeups must be scheduled with the desk manager and expire after one month. No supervision is offered in the lobby or common areas.
