La Habra Heritage School Summer Camp offers a summer camp program for school-age children that includes unique field trips and activities. During the year, the school also holds school-wide themed activities such as an Easter Egg hunt, a Halloween parade, Mother’s/Father’s Day events, a Christmas program, and Picture Days for class, Christmas, and graduation photos. Dancing lessons are provided for all preschool children and are included in the tuition, and the school hosts a Holiday Program with child-driven performances and a potluck.

For over 40 years, La Habra Heritage School has offered an infant program, a full and part-time daycare program, a preschool program, a transitional kindergarten (TK) program, and a before and after-school program. The program states that the early years of a child’s life are viewed as the most important for intellectual and social development, and it states a commitment to providing a safe, secure, positive, and enriching environment. The staff share the philosophy of the program and have varied levels of experience and education. The school has an open door policy for parents to visit and observe their child and teachers, sends newsletters to keep parents informed about current events, and encourages parents to participate in all Heritage activities. The program uses a developmental curriculum geared to the age and ability of each child and notes that summer camp field trips and activities provide another venue for growth by allowing socializing and learning new skills. La Habra Heritage School reports being a 120 Awards Winners program and highlights over 40 years of excellence.
Parents have shared that their children attended from infancy through pre-K and described the staff as kind and wonderful, with low staff turnover, and said their children still remember and miss the school. Several parents specifically mentioned Ms. Deepa or Mrs. Deepa and said their children still talk about her and remember the care and education they received. One parent stated that the school made her boys feel safe and taken care of and that she would highly recommend the school to others who are nervous about leaving their young children.
