About

Overnight Summer Camps at YMCA Camp Jones Gulch take place in a facility with four separate camp villages, each with its own campfire circle. The overnight sleep away camps are described as places where kids can develop skills, self-confidence, new friendships and a sense of belonging while having fun. The broader camp offerings at the same facility also include Family Camps for weekend stays and a Wellness Weekend under the redwoods.

• Ages: 5–17 years old
• Schedule: Administrative hours Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

YMCA Camp Jones Gulch includes twenty-nine dormitory-style cabins with bunk beds that house 10–18 people each, and cabins and areas of camp are assigned based on availability and group size. The facility offers rustic but comfortable, heated cabins for groups of up to 400. The camp is part of the YMCA of Greater San Francisco, which was established during the Gold Rush in 1853, and whose mission is to empower each person’s journey and strengthen the foundations of community. The YMCA of Greater San Francisco is a 501(c)3 charitable community organization that serves more than 130,000 people through 15 neighborhood branches, more than 130 program sites, and one residential camp across Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo Counties. The leadership at YMCA Camp Jones Gulch includes Executive Director Carrie Herrera.
