Bishop Amat Youth Athletic Programs include a range of activities such as the Youth Dance Clinic 2025 “Teen Beach Movie,” Amat Pep Squad Youth Spirit Night clinic, baseball camps, basketball camps, dance camp, Little Lancers Volleyball Camp, boys’ and girls’ soccer camps, Lil Kickers camp, softball camps, and boys’ and girls’ wrestling camps. The Youth Dance Clinic 2025 includes an optional performance opportunity dancing at halftime with the Bishop Amat Dance Team, and the Amat Pep Squad Youth Spirit Night clinic includes participation in a game event. Camps and clinics include options for both beginner and advanced players in baseball and softball, as well as sessions specifically for girl wrestlers only in the Girls Wrestling Camp.

• Schedule: Seasonal clinics and camps with single-day, multi-day, and multi-week options, including one-day wrestling camps, three-day volleyball, basketball, and softball youth camps, a four-day dance camp, one-week and two-week baseball camps, and an approximately two-week soccer camp.

The Youth Dance Clinic 2025 meets on Saturday, October 18 from 9 am to 3 pm and Thursday, October 23 from 4 pm to 6:30 pm, with a performance opportunity on Friday, October 24 at 7 pm (arrival at 6:30 pm). Amat Pep Squad Youth Spirit Night holds its clinic on Friday, October 24 at 4 pm with a game at 7 pm. The 2025 Summer Baseball Camp for Incoming Freshman and 8th Graders runs June 23–27 and June 30–July 3 from 1 pm to 4 pm, with options to attend one or both weeks. Girls’ Basketball Camp 2025 runs June 10–12 from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm, and Boys’ Basketball Camp runs June 17–19 with Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm and Thursday from 8 am to 11 am, followed by Freshman Basketball Tryouts on June 19 from 11 am to 12 pm. Dance Camp runs July 18–21, Little Lancers Volleyball Camp runs July 10–12 from 8 am to 10 am, Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer Camp runs July 22–August 1 with the first week Tuesday–Friday and the second week Monday–Friday from 10 am to 12:15 pm, Softball Youth Camp runs August 5–7 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Incoming Freshmen Softball Camp runs August 8–9 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Boys Wrestling Camp runs Saturday, June 21 from 10 am to 2 pm, and Girls Wrestling Camp runs Friday, June 20 from 10 am to 2 pm.
The Youth Dance Clinic 2025 costs $60 per dancer for pre-registration and includes participation, lunch, and a t-shirt. Amat Pep Squad Youth Spirit Night costs $50 and includes clinic instruction, dinner, and a game ticket, with cash or checks accepted at registration check-in. The 2025 Summer Baseball Camp for Incoming Freshman and 8th Graders costs $150 per week for June 23–27 or June 30–July 3, or $250 for both weeks. Girls’ Basketball Camp 2025 and Boys’ Basketball Camp each cost $125 and include a camp t-shirt. Little Lancers Volleyball Camp costs $75. Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer Camp costs $275 regular, $225 for early registration, $200 per player for siblings, and $175 per player for groups of four or more, with limited spots available. Softball Youth Camp for 5th–7th graders costs $90, Incoming Freshmen Softball Camp costs $140, and Boys and Girls Wrestling Camps each cost $60 per participant.
Camp attire for Baseball Camp includes baseball pants, belt, shirt, and hat, and each player is expected to bring personal equipment including helmet, bat, glove, and cleats. Little Lancers Volleyball Camp participants must wear tennis shoes. The Little Lancers Volleyball Camp is for ages 7–13. Freshmen are encouraged to audition for Dance Camp.
The Menlo College wrestling men’s staff lead the technique for the Boys Wrestling Camp, and members of the Rio Hondo College wrestling team serve as counselors for the Boys Wrestling Camp. Cheyene Bowman and Aine Drury are guest clinicians for the Girls Wrestling Camp. Coach Megan Glaudini is the contact for the Youth Dance Clinic and Dance Camp, Coach Flores is the contact for Girls’ Basketball Camp 2025, Coach Ertle is the contact for Boys’ Basketball Camp, Coach Harris is the contact for Little Lancers Volleyball Camp, and Coach Steve Jimenez is the contact for the Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer Camp.
Bishop Amat Memorial High School is a co-educational Catholic high school and is sponsored by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Bishop Amat draws from a thirty mile radius and serves a diverse student population. The mission of Bishop Amat High School is to integrate Catholic values into all areas of the life of the adolescent, values which are essential for the lifetime pilgrim journey of a follower of Christ.
Bishop Amat Memorial High School was built by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in 1957, with the present campus site opened on December 16, 1957, and the school formally dedicated to Bishop Thaddeus Amat’s memory in October 1959. The gymnasium was added in 1962, Kiefer Stadium in 1965, and the 300 wing in 1966, and the school became co-educational with a single administrative structure in 1973. A building dedicated to the performing arts was completed in 1982, additional computer labs and science labs were added between 1988 and 1994, and the Brutocao Library was completed in 1995. A major renovation including replacement of the Tate Duff Memorial Gymnasium began in 2002, with the first activity in the new facility held on May 16, 2004, and a state of the art Performing Arts Center with a 400-seat theater, 1,800 square foot stage, orchestra pit, and related instructional and support spaces was completed in the 2021–2022 school year.
