LOCA Arts Education offers Art Escapes Online, which are video workshops that bring in-person art classes into the home with simple supplies. It also offers Art for Children with the Library, called Art and Books, which pairs classic children’s literature with a fun art project. Other offerings include Art Escapes hands-on art classes, Online Classes with step-by-step video instruction, Art Talks with nationally renown artists, and Custom Art Escapes for adults, kids, and families.
Programs
- Art Escapes Online — students of all ages · These video workshops provide a wonderful, fun art experience. LOCA offers in-person art classes in a variety of media. These videos bring some of these classes into your home with simple supplies.
- Art for Children with the Library — ages 4-7 · LOCA partners with the Laguna Beach Public Library to present a program called Art and Books. The series pairs classic Children’s literature with a fun art project.
- Art on the Wild Side
- Art Escapes — kids to seniors, beginners to experts · Hands on art classes are offered to everyone from kids to seniors, beginners to experts.
- Online Classes — everyone, from beginners to more advanced students · Easy to use video instruction that provides step by step guidance, tips, techniques and artist insights.
- Art Talks — Conversations with nationally renown artists sharing their insights and personal experience.
- Custom Art Escapes — Adults, Kids & Families, beginner to advanced · LOCA Certified art educators offer custom art classes, workshops and adventures.

About the provider
LOCA Arts Education is a nonprofit coalition of arts educators, professional artists, and advocates interested in arts education for people of all ages. LOCA has been serving the community for over 30 years. It provides workshops to Laguna Beach Unified School District, Glennwood House, Laguna Beach Public Library, Laguna Beach Boys & Girls Club Canyon & Bluebird Park Branches, Waymakers Youth Shelter, and the Laguna Beach Community & SusiQ Senior Center, and workshops are also available to the public.
