O'Connor Kennedy Academy of Irish Dance offers Irish dance classes for children and adults, including options for very beginners through championship-level dancers. The program includes a complete Irish Dance Preschool program with Tiny Tots Irish Dance classes for children starting at age 2. The academy also creates custom-built Irish dance shows for private parties, weddings, corporate events and meetings, and community functions of all sizes.

The academy describes its goal as teaching Irish dance to the best of each child's ability and making it a wonderful and memorable experience. Classes are led by certified teachers, including Kate O'Connor, ADCRG, and Sean Kennedy, TCRG, and offer a variety of instruction in all locations with relatively small class sizes and personal attention. Instruction focuses on proper form and technique, stamina, flexibility, and presentation, and some senior dancers have toured with or are currently touring with shows such as Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.
O'Connor Kennedy Academy of Irish Dance was established in 1996 and was founded in 2003 as a result of a merge between the Butler-Fearon School of Canada and California and the O’Connor-Kennedy School in California. It was reintroduced under the original family school name in July 2021 after the retirement of former directors Rose Fearon and Vincent O'Connor. The leadership team includes Kate O'Connor, ADCRG, and Sean Kennedy, TCRG, along with former directors Rose Fearon and Vincent O'Connor.
The academy has been named the No. 1 dance school in North America by Irish Dancing and Culture Magazine for 2005. Students have won numerous titles including Western US Region, Eastern Canadian Region, North American, Australian, Great Britain, All-Scotland, All-Ireland, and World Champion. Recorded achievements include 15 World Championships Solos Titles, 14 All Ireland Championship Titles, 8 All Scotland Championship Titles, 14 Great Britain Championship Titles, 4 British Nationals Championship Titles, 60 North American Solo Championship Titles, 1 Australia International Championship Title, and 264 Regional Championship Titles. Team achievements include 2006 Mixed Junior Team National Champions, 2005 Mixed Junior Team Western US Champions, and two teams dancing at the World Championships in 2009, where the school received 16 team world medals.
O'Connor Kennedy Dancers are available for performances for business or social events, large or small, with custom-built shows tailored in show length, type of dance, and number of dancers to fit financial needs and wishes.
